What is Video Branch Service?

Video branch is a service that enables all IndusInd Bank customers to connect with our Branch Manager, Relationship Manager and with our centralized Video Branch.First time users can also experience Video Branch and know about our products.

Which all services are available on Video Branch?

All the services that are currently being offered through Phone Banking are available using this facility. In addition to this, you can also do a number of financial transactions like opening a Fixed Deposit, transferring funds through NEFT, RTGS, Paying your IndusInd credit card bill etc.

How can I get access to Video Branch Service?

You can access the Video Branch from the device of your choice. You can use desktop or laptop, tablets or mobile phone.Currently Video Branch is available for Android (2.3 and higher) and Apple mobile devices (iOS 6, 7 and higher) in the respective App Stores.

How can I update my registered mobile number to use Video Branch?

Simply contact your branch or call our Phone Banking at 1860 500 5004/022 44066666 to update your mobile number. Once your number is updated, you can enjoy the Video Branch service and also benefit from alerts and other communication sent by the Bank.

Will I be charged for using this service?

This service is complimentary to all the users. However, you will have to pay for your Internet data plan. We have designed Video Branch with the latest technology to ensure optimum utilization of the bandwidth and data.

Is Video Branch a secure service?

We have taken all care to ensure that communication between the bank and users of Video Branch is safe and secure. The conversations are secured using 128 bit AES encryption technology.

Do I need to enter any login ID/password required for using this service?

If you are an IndusInd Bank Customer, you will have to authenticate yourself by using your registered mobile number and One Time Password (OTP) that will be sent to your registered mobile number and email address by the bank.All other users will need to provide their mobile number, name and email ID and One Time Password (OTP) that will be sent to their mobile number and email address.

Do I need to install or download any other application for using Video Branch service?

To enjoy the services of Video Branch, you just need to install the Video Branch application from Google Play-store or Apple iTunes. You may also access the service from our website www.indusind.com".

Can I schedule a call back from the Branch Manager or my Relationship Manager?

"Yes, call scheduling is available for IndusInd Bank customers. The facility to schedule a call with the Branch Manager or Relationship Manager is available for customers having their accounts in IndusInd Bank branches in more than 100 cities in India. To check if your city is included in this facility, please connect with our Video Branch executive.We endeavour to fulfil call back requests with your Branch Manager or Relationship Manager at the earliest."

I don't want to use the video facility. Can I do an audio conference?

You have the option to use "Audio Only" facility of Video Branch. However, in order to ensure additional security for the financial transactions, you will have to use the video conference.

How do I send the supporting documents for my transactions?

"In order to share supporting documents, you will need a device with at least 5 Megapixel rear camera or more. You can take a snapshot of your document(s) and upload from Video Branch Application just after the concluding the Video call and before submitted the feedback."

Why do I need to submit the original documents?

Original documents need to be submitted to Bank for regulatory purposes. In case the original documents are not received by the Bank within stipulated time, Bank reserves the right to cancel/modify the transaction.

Will I get the original documents back?

Depending on the nature of the transaction, the original documents may or may not be given back. We recommend you to keep a photocopy of the documents before submitted the same to Bank.

What are different notifications coming on my device?

For Video Branch mobile application users, IndusInd Bank sends customized offers, product information and other information from time to time.This functionality is also used in case if you have scheduled a call from Video Branch mobile application, to remind you of the call at the scheduled time.

Will your application pass the information stored on my phone/desktop to your bank?

No, Video Branch does not retrieve user data from their devices.

I do not have internet connectivity. Can I use Video Branch?

To use Video Branch you will need steady internet connectivity. You can use either a Wi-Fi connectivity or 3G connectivity to have a good experience on Video Branch.

Is Video Branch application available for Mobile device running Windows 8, Symbian or Blackberry?

VideoBranch is currently available for Apple and Android mobile operating systems only.

Can I use VideoBranch anytime during the day?

IndusInd Bank Video Branch is available 24x7, 365 days in a year. You can use this service from any part of the world at any time as long as you have access to your device with internet connectivity.
